Anyone got Radeon 9500 pro successfully running on SI?

Hi, Going to have to update video card before i can play SI so ive opted for the Radeon 9500pro, however noticed a couple of problems reported on this forum, so has anyone got this card running ok and with no performance issues? Grateful for any feedback as its alot of money to splash out for me.
Im using an athlon xp 1800 with 512 ddr memory.

The 9500pro works fine as long as you install DX9 and the latest Catalyst 3.1 drivers. Be warned that turning the water reflection and detail shadows options on kills the framerate when the screen gets busy, it is an issue with the games graphics engine and ATi, the card itself is good but the engine is very poorly optimised for ATi cards.
