But really they should sell em at as a high-end item rather than a limited edition. It is supposed to help the foundation to eliminate this horrible disease, but now it just feels like free Nike advertising. If anyone could buy them and 10% of the sale went to the foundation much more money would be gathered.

Not in this case CorNokZ, the donations made are being match funded but only for a limited time period, so if his charity raises a shitload of cash in a short period it'll be doubled.

There's then no reason for these to not be re-released or a modified version being released for general consumption along the lines you say, 10% or whatever to the foundation.
