Anyone got a good ToA/etc template for a Champ? Made one on the US and half the templates on the VNs are total shite, put together a few attempts of my own also but really not happy with em - any help appreciated. If it makes any diff its an rvr champ so LW spec and Celt!

Not sure about Ring of the Heavens and the ability to get it easily. I'll try to "port" my current 2H Armsman template tomorrow or so to Champ and see how you like it (jewelery is Zahur's Ring, DS con ring, 2 x DS str bracer).

Matter and energy is too low in the one posted, Earth wizzards, roots, Sorcs, mezzes, Thanes DD procs and now Maulers are matter too. The hits are nice, but the ToA melee bonuses are too low, need GoLM which is also good for self sickness cure.

Here you go, I didn't double check the stats on the arties, in comparison to Hibernia from Albion, as I didn't have the time, but they should be correct, same goes for the Darkspire stuff.

With Battler in 1h and crafted shield you should get around +5 parry/shield and 50 dex to help with slam if you go 42 shield. My Armsman template has slightly worse melee resists in 2H, but they are capped when I wield Battler. Albion double spec for the loose (+11 2H and +11 Crush).

Dex has minimal impact on blocking and parry rates as someone tested a few weeks ago on VN so I wouldn't worry about this too much. You can squeeze in 75 in 1h mode when you gimp some resists, but it isn't worth it imho for slam as it has no to hit bonus anyway.

With 80 quickness and +10 on creation on Celt you should be close to cap afair.

I'll help you farming the stuff if you go for it, patterned Armor should be not that expensive, paid 5 plats self cost price to a guildie for plate Armor on Prydwen.

Group mainly - yeah that template is much improved on the resists and melee stats ta mani - cant afford any resists below about 10% these days really in rvr.

Ta for the help both - think i'll probably go with manisch depending on item availability in hib-caerleon ofc - the americans overprice things massively sadly - but works both ways ofc - easier to get cash too...

The ring has excellent utility and fits into the template. And no use at ALL? Sorry. 101 con and ~400 hits are a must for me on tanks/hybrids that don't need 101 dex.

Dont need dex on champ if lw spec...reason why i run w/o energy and matter sists is not really any classes do amazing dmg with those dmg types plus encourges ppl to invite my warden to groups <3

It's not about the damage only (Energy is thane, Matter can be Warlock, LW or Earth Wizzard or if you don't play Hib 48 VE Vamp with Matter Claw), but also about CC duration where you find a lot of stuff like roots and mezzes. Not sure about the Fist Wraps DDs on Mauler.

This was made pre 1.85 for 1.84 but i put the caps in for 1.85 anyway thats why stuff doesnt really fit as well as it might be able to.

Fixed malice weapon although i didn't feel hindered much when i changed to legendarys in groups.

at +10 in creation in quickness and aug quickness 1 i hit 247 quickness i had 10% melee speed in my old template dropping to 8 wasn't noticeable tbh

I noticed my Scalars stats are wrong, it is 15 con and 15 quickness.
