Well, it's not your connection then.

You said that you get it when unstealthing, right?
How about entering busy zones (portal keeps) and meeting enemies. More lag than usual?

What's your DAoC Precatch setting?

No, it's the first hop. Probably the gateway or a machine in the local network. For some reason those machines tend to refuse to send back a ICMP packet. The bastards.

Its server side lag. I dont have red indicators though but i do have rather nasty latenzy with 3 green lagmeter's. So much for the upgrade they did last time.... :\"

no lagprobs at all tbh

Araudry, try downloading pingplotter at www.pingplotter.com and monitor your connection for a couple days, you should be able to trace down the problem using that program. A simple tracert can work now and then if its something serious going on, but minor faults can slip by a tracert pretty often since they often tend to be very irrational.

thats bad....

suggestion is that you get in touch with your ISP and ask of them to reroute you if possible. Also, poor media can cause PL (this was the reason once for me, I had a defect cable, my ISP had problems aswell but my poor cable was strongly enhancing the PL) so see to it that this isnt the cause. Buy a new 1m cable and try with it and see if you still get the same PL just to be sure.

Well, you can always send a mail to your ISP, there might be something they can do about it.

I hear level3.net hosts the majority of spam-mail companies in europe so maybe they are part of the problem.
