My graphics card performs admirabley but I am wondering if it's the thing that's holding me back overlcocking my PC.
I've fixed the rate 66mhz even when overclocking but I'm sure it's getting too hot.

It's a Gainward golden sample GeForce Ti4600 with the normal HSF it came with. I've removed this and applied some arctic silver but the side without the heatsink on, i.e. the other side of the PCB from the main GPU, gets too hot to touch. Is this normal?

Are there more effective cooling solutions out there, or even something I can fix to this other side to help with cooling?

CoolerMaster do some solid copper RAM sinks, you could glue a cou[ple of them on, that would help a bit. You could even try a HS&F from a north bridge, bung that on , that would work fine.

Zalman do this beast which is apparently quite effective. But obviously the best solution would be to watercool the bitch, although that would be a bit expensive.

:)
