when ever i approach Mularn or Iarnwood my Comp starts freezing up for about 20secs then eventually the whole thing reboots, when windows then comes back up this pop-up error message come up, where u can send in the rapport to MS( u know what i'm talking about) that says that the error prolly was caused because of my Gforce4 FX 5600....i have told Rightnow about it, and they just said they were working on it....any ideas what to do?

install newest directx and newest drivers for your graphics card.

you can get newest drivers here - http://www.3dchipset.com/

hope it helps :)

btw when i got my radeon 9700 pro it froze also for 20 sec and then it rebooted, a new motherboard helped on that.

so maybe a new motherboard :( or maybe some drivers for your chipset :/

try it out, hope it solves your problems.

Used to happen a lot to me, especially when I died and went back to Svasud bindstone.

PC freezes for ages, then seemed to be ok for a second, froze again, I'd get LD screen then auto-reboot.

I ripped out the app and reinstalled, works fine now.

If you have Detailed Shadows on change them back to classic shadows. That sorted this problem for me.

It's a known bug with some GeForce cards.

The newest drivers aren't always the best drivers. I have serveral friends aho had a hard time getting there machines to run steady with the latest GFX drivers from NVIDIA.

Things u can do to make your machine run better is.

Update BIOS!

Update chipset drivers!

Update your network drivers!

Turn of progs running in the back!

That is where the most Stability problems tend to show up.

i got the newest motherboard aswell MSI 856PE Neo, the best one u can get for pentium 4, about the Bios update, i'm a bit scared to do that coz last i tried it, i said alot of freaky stuff that made me unsure if i dared do it, so i didn't...not that i'm a comp n00b or anything, been working with comps since i was 12 i think so...maybe i can write down what it says and post it here, so u can see what u make of it..
