anyone else got this bt ping problem?

well,what it is, i get me normal 40-80 ping all day on q2/cs then come about 6 oclock bang straight up to 300! with isdn!
anyone else get this? i seen ppl on servers complaing about it ,does anyone know whats going on?it's driving me mad... i can use my bw dial - up but it starts getting a bit dear for poor ol me...

hmm 300 isn't that bad i was lagging out with 3000 on bt internet on 56k

not good @ all i normally get 180

god i do sypathise m8.its 10 past 10 and my ping has now gone down to 200...grrrr

it will be gamers like me causing your problem, sorry bout that i have a bt package where it is free after 6.00, so loads of people will be logging on then. i can never get a decent ut or ahl game from 6.00 till 7.00, my ping is 1000-3000 instead of my normal 150-200 on a 56k modem.

I am on BT ADSL and have noticed two things recently:

On BW CS Servers 1-5 only I ping 200-300!! in the evenings.


On BW servers in general there is severe spikes. ie. I move and the whole screen freezes for 2 secs then starts again.


All the above has only been in the last 3 days or so.


Could be BT or could be BW.

I'm getting really bad lag on a lot of servers at the mo', although BW seems to be the worst. I use World Online and normally ping 140 - 160 on average, but its been a steady 450 this last couple of weeks.
