Is that 100% packet loss and nothing past it responds (ie you can't route to GOA), or 100% packet loss and stuff past it responds (ie a router set not to respond to pings) ?

i get the packet loss when I hit step 18 on ping plotter, which is OT paris. packet loss varies from then on, from 10% to 100% for next 4 steps

In which case the step 18 is simply set to ignore pings, which is often done to reduce traffic.

It's the first step with more than 0% and less than 100% that tends to be the problem.

Either that or the service is up the creak and the fookin lag is very very bad, with LD's all over the place.

Hmm, think it might be the latter at the moment

wasn't noticeable for me - at least nothing that made me think "groo lag" - stopped responding for a second or two at one point.

Get some pingplots - probably only some routes getting affected.

send trace/pingplots to rightnow.

for me all night getting heavy duty lag.

different to the last spate of lag though these were like shorter bursts but much more frequent.

I've had this the last few days - I had assumed it was my ISP or something, but I have no PL or lag to anywhere else.

There seems to be more during peak times (of course) - I'm plotting 10% average PL right now from po1-0.pascr3.Paris.opentransit.net and all nodes up to the server itself. Was getting up to 30% last night average, but most of guild were fine.

I'm on Plus.net.
