Me and some guildies from Midgard/Excalibur, is now setting up a Pbaoe group here at Hibernia/Prydwen.

Almost everything is set, except for where to xp.
This is gonna be a pbaoe group, with chanters doing the damage.
We're _1_ FG, and i would love an URL with some tips and camps, for each lvl and so :)

Hope you understood my question, if not - tell me what you didnt understand and let me rephrase :)

but i recomend u to not follow their character template... most of them suck really bad

especially not the enchanter template... 50 mana, 20 light & 4 enchant... u really want the last focus shield for farming/PLing purposes

same thing with their ns template... that one is even more gimped than etcetras thane..

He sent me this:

"I thought it would be a good idea to post any good hunting spots we've found roughly in order of increasing level, E-mail Cael with any ones that you have found. This way, we will all be able to (particularly new players in Hib) level more easily, die less and generally have more fun. I have put some other tips that I think are useful here too and hopefully with this guide you can just /send people in the game and form your own groups that's what I do.

So here a couple of suggestions from me (they are where I have been in groups):-

1. Water beetles just North of Ardee or South of Mag Mell, they are level 6 to 9. Also there are Water Beetle Collecters here, which are level 4 to 5.

2. About halfway between Mag Mell and Mardagh you have the blackthorns and lunantishees which always seem to come in threes and are level 8 to 9. Watch out for the blackthorns who can some how fire arrows at you so either need mezzing or attacking.

3. The other side of the road (Lough Derg 25k 25k) are the lough wolves and badgers etc., which are about levels 9 to 12.

4. A bit further SW of these (Lough Derg 10k 55k) are Curmudgeons which do BAF but are good for full group at levels 7 to 10ish. Also there are Curmudgeons east of Mag Mell (Lough Derg 45k 5k), these maybe lower level I think but I'm not quite sure.

5. Ghostly siabras just South of number 6 at loc 25k 35k, these are level 11 to 12, according to my map. They don't seem to BAF either. Also can find these SW of Tir na mBeo (Lough Derg 18k 50k), but be careful to not pull Risa with an area of effect spell because she is a lot higher than the siabras and will wipe out your group (it's happened to me).

6. The bantam spectres by the stone pillars just west of Darkness Falls (Connacht, approx. loc 25k 20k). I think they are level 15-17 and they never BAF (Bring A Friend) so a good place for an average group level of around 10 to 12.

7. For somewhere more interesting you could try gales in Cliffs of Moher loc 55k 55k (follow east along road at north of Tir na Nog) which are level 16 to 18, but watch out for aggro from giant beetles, which are level 21 to 22!! Also they can BAF but not as much as say Parths. They appear mostly at 6am ish in the morning so be careful when they spawn, you can kill Moherian Distorters if you have to wait.

8. The parthenon farm in east Lough Derg (get horse there from Ardee) is popular place, they BAF like crazy, and are mostly level 17-19, but you do get the odd level 20.

9. The faerie drakes south east of Caille in the Valley of Bri Leith (loc 45k 42k). They BAF and they are level 20 to 22.

10. Dampwood mites, South East of Innis Carthaig. They BAF and are around level 24.

11. If you like to travel you could try Gurite assailers and waylayers and others around levels 23 to 27 SE of Innis Carthaig (Lough Gur 65k 55k, you can run into Bogs of Cullen a bit as well). Now, apart from this spot and the previous one do not try hunting at these levels in Lough Gur in my opinion, because there is high level aggro roaming around all over the place. There are pookas and far darrigs that will kill you in one or two hits. Also watch out for the gurite waylayers if you run away - they seem to run after you for what seems like forever.

12. Had a good time in west of Cliffs of Moher with three people around level 35ish killing grovewoods and cliff dwellers and cliff hangers etc. It was a nice group tho, a bard, a mentalist and a champ who was tanking very well - might want to take more if you decide to go.

Dungeons:-

1. Muire Tomb

I liked here for Crypt Spiders and the odd Mummy Hag to get to level 12 ish but not much after that. Personally I don't like to go in any further - you always seems to die, I reckon it is easier to go and fight something else.

2. Spraggon Den

Had good times here around level 18 to 22ish I think all the way in although the layout has recently changed.

3. Koalinth Caverns

Good place to hunt after Spraggon Den. Need a full group though at low levels. Lots of BAF/adds and the bridge is dangerous as you can fall off and there are 2 casters on the other side of the bridge who fire bolts (used to be able to get you through walls with the bolts but think they fixed that) Dioennia.

4. Treibh Caillte

Only done lair worms near the entrance here, but looks to be a good place to go after Koalinth Caverns for about levels 24 to 30.

5. Coruscating Mines

Hehe, well I'm a Bard and someone really needed a bard, so I effectively got power leveled in a group of low 30s from 25 to 31. Seems to be good for level 30 to 40.

Cael’s Recommended Levelling Plan (assumes a full group):-

(i) For levels 1 to 8ish use hunting spots 1 to 5.
(ii) Then take a trip to Muire Tomb and kill some Crypt Spiders and Mummies, and when the experience slows down move to the Bantam Spectres (Hunt Spot number 6).
(iii) Then progress through hunt spots 6 to 10 and get to level 19.
(iv) Go kill some Albs and Mids in Abermenai (Battleground 0) until you have 125 realm points.
(v) Now take a trip to Spraggon Den and get to level 21 to 22ish.
(vi) Next take a trip to Koalinth Caverns and get to level 24 (still to try this myself) or hunting spot 11.
(vii) When you reach level 24 go to Thidranki (Battleground 1) and go bash some Albs and Mids until you reach 350 realm points.
(viii) Take a trip to Treibh Caillte and get to level 29 to 30 (still to try this myself). Start off on Scraggers (they are level 30 to 32).
(ix) Next go to Coruscating Mine and get to level 40ish.
(x) Now as Dioennia put it to me when I dinged 40 “Welcome to the world of seriously slow expingâ€. After level 40 try and get groups in either Tur Suil (SI dungeon), Fomor (SI dungeon) or Cursed Forest. Waste hours of your precious life in a 4 fins group (Cursed Forest loc 57k 26k)
(xi) Ding 50.

Happy Hunting :)

You need 49 mana in 1.62 remember to get the highest heat debuff so tbh I think 50, 20, 4 will become a more popular template, having the 50 focus sheild is nice, couple up with a bard and you can solo Galladoria mobs, Epic mobs and PL up other chars with ease etc.

You debuff the target and fire off baseline nuke. The debuff is fire and your nuke is fire. Simple as that ^^
