Any Jazz fans?

I'm looking for some new music to listen to and i generally find ambient stuff helps me work better than Gamah's recommended 'bangin ch00nz' D love you really).

Would anyone be able to recommend a particular artist or compilation?.

My knowledge isn't too hot on jazz but what i'm looking for roughly is the stuff without a vocalist, any sort of pace, and as said fairly ambient.

Go to Pandora and stick in soomething like Miles Davis, listen to any one of his vocal tracks and then do the search for other stuff like this. You'll probably get some vocal stuff but you can skip so many tracks per hour or just set up a new channel.

If you're looking for a bit faster and rougher saxophone jazz, try David Sanchez. Will write something more some other day. Going to bed now

Okay, like said David Sanchez is a bit rougher jazz
Chet Baker - Trumpet, nice and relatively smooth jazz
Silje Nergaard, female singer - jazzy/bluesy
Anything of, or in corporation with, the Clayton brothers and Hamilton.
Diana Krall, Katie Melua, Norah Jones - three a bit more mainstream jazzy female singers, but very good
And ofcourse you've got the classics
Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Nina Simone, Count Basie, Johnny Coltrane.
Forgot several others, but then, it's 4 am so I'll rectify myself another time again
