I recently installed Win 2000 so now I have dual boot with that and Win98.
The only trouble is that my 'backup' copy of office 2000 cannot be read in Win 2000 but works fine under Win98, every other CD i have tried have worked fine just not that one. This means I can't install it under Win 2000, I have to install it under Win98 and then hope it works under win 2000 (which it does to some extent). Anyone any ideas as to why this is?
Also I downloaded the Delta Force 2 demo the otherday, first I installed it on Win2K but when I try and run it in hardware mode instead of software it crashes. So I uninstall it,reboot, and try it in Win98, except that now it won't intstall it just crashes my system (and switches off my monitor for some reason). So to get it working in hardware mode I have to install it on Win2K and then run it on Win98. The complete opposite of my problem with Office 2000.
They are probably not at all related these problems but I'd be very gratefull for any suggestions as to why its happening.
