Looking for something to play on the xBox as ive finally played through GoW2 (yeah I know about 6 months after the rest of the planet), as far as I can see all the decent games I'd probably buy for it arent released until around October???

To give you an idea of what usually gets played on my xBox, here are the last 6 games played:

Fifa09
Dead Rising - Still enjoying it, almost the perfect zombie game
Deadspace - excellent and very atmospheric
Mass Effect - not bad, but can be annoying
Gow2
Oblivion

Any recommendations?? Dead Rising 2, Ghostbusters, Kingdom Under Fire 2 all stood out for me, but they are all months away :(

Ghostbusters is utter shite, do not bother. It looks okay, but the gameplay is awful.

Crackdown is cheap as chips and worth getting if you have never played it before -lots of playtime in it. I would recommend renting prototype, it's a fun game but too short to buy. Fifa10/pes10 and cod5 will all be out over the next few months -worth saving for.

Battlefield 1943 for online MP only title for £10
SP - Secret of Monkey Island on XBLA :D

Other than that erm Red Faction: Guerrilla, and maybe Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood (Heard good and bad things about it and its yet to arrive from my online games rental service)

Guess its a matter of opinion really I thought it was really good if on the very short side. No way would of I paid full price for it and even better I paid nothing due to my LoveFilm rental :)

It's fine as far as the humour goes, although the fact that the storyline recycles old ghosts from the films shows a distinct lack of originality or extreme laziness of the writers. Did you not get bored of the rinse repeat of firing your photonstream, catching the ghost and on and on? Also the AI is awful, the stream crossing is impossible to avoid, there is just nothing new there. Zero tolerance was spot on with his review of this one. A huge mess made of a great oppurtunity.

Hate to break this to you but CoD5 has been out for a while now. Unless you mean modern warfare 2 ;)

Yes, that's what I meant. The non infinity ward releases are so bad I don't count them ;p

Come on Ch3t we simply can't accept these lame excuses. If we don't see improvement we'll be locking you in OT for a few months.

Back on topic, just do what I do, browse the previously owned section of your local game or gamestation for anything that might take your fancy. I recently picked up fallout 3 for £25 and it's probably the best value for money single player computer game I've had since FF7.

The first night's the toughest, no doubt about it. They march you in naked as the day you were born, skin burning and half blind from that delousing shit they throw on you, and when they put you in that cell... and those bars slam home... that's when you know it's for real. A whole life blown away in the blink of an eye. Nothing left but all the time in the world to think about it

Pffft, you've obviously never spent any length of time in OT.

That's because I haven't done anything wrong :). However I was exposed to some of the OT dwellers while I was still gracing the warhammer forums with my presence, I may have ended up with an infraction and a lot of negative rep but thankfully those dark days are behind me.

Just played tht call of Juarez, pretty average. I'm waiting for modern warfare: 2, mass effect 2 and more importantly Bioshock2 xD
