Aussie the point Im trying to make is that I feel I play this game far to much (to the point that im mildly addicted) but there are loads more out there that literally live for DAOC. And its a serious addiction.... you sir are one of those that plays this game one hell of a lot... Im not trying to insult you (i dont know you) but you must be living a strange life if you are willing to pour that much of it into DAOC.

And all these stupid symbols and signs are usually a good indicator of an addict.

Hmm seems to me that you are all working on the assumption that there is something better to do?

Take myself for example.

ATM I am unemployed due to redundancy (just got a new job so things looking up there :) ).

I live in a small town that has no decent leisure amenities (Cinema, Bowling Alley etc).

I don't drink or like to be around people who are drunk.

I have no interest in watching the endless repeats on UK television and the 'new' dramas seem to be just recycled shite.

So in all honesty the PC is the only leisure outlet I have, and I play an average of 8 hours per day, 7 days a week ATM?

Addicted?

Nope - just sod all better to do.

Hmm, I'm a student and have fk all free time. Three 9-5s (lab/research), lectures, and then meeting with group, reading round the past 3 years of physics I've forgotten :\

Ok in your first/second year though, especially if you do an arts degree..
Oh no *3* 9-5s? how do you cope with the insane workload! Some of us work at least that long *every day*. Trust me students have waaay more free time than people working (I used to be a student after all. ;))

The thing I remember about uni is that the lessons on Tuesday morning and Thursday mornings always either got missed - or we were pretty much asleep in them, as Ritzy (in Kingston 1991+) until it became McKluskys, had a £1 a pint night on Mondays and Wednesdays :)

So we used to buy some vodka from Sainsbury's, down about 1/3 to 1/2 of a pint of it, then go to Ritzy's and never spend more than £10 :p and that would sometimes include the kebab - hehe

Those were the days.

Went to Kingston this weekend and I've been hungover for over a day now :/ How the body is amazing at coping with all the alcohol abuse between 16-25, but now at 29 - Bring on the Anadin / Nurofen!

Anyway good for the students who have time to play this game - just as I finished Uni, the halls started to have internet connections put into them, and Sujoy started his Quake playing. Lucky bastards :)

Anyway
