Is there anyway I can m8 cs auto retry on a server in the console until it accepts??? some script of some kind??

i don't think so (other than using gamespy...) but if you type 'retry' in the console, just press the up arrow and it will put the last thing you typed there... much easier than re-typing retry loadsa times... did that make sense ??

even better, bind an F key (I use f9) to retry

bind "F9" "retry"

and all he has to do is press the f9 key once and it will retry. Difference is you see, that the HL engine always executes binds on the F keys, even in the console

wh000 0didnt know that f keys could be used in console but:

is there a way i could make it so it retried by itself instead of me having to repetetively press it. (It would have 2 stop retrying when connected)

Use a server browser tool like gamespy or pingtool.

They have auto redial features which will ping a server every second and then auto join when its empty. Obviously on very busy servers someone may beat u in, but its easier than sitting in console retrying and lets u browse etc while u wait to join server.
