ANOTHER problem with 1.3

I henceforth set before the forum a problem for the perusal of the Wise Men of the forum -
In 1.3, mouse movements and any other kind of input seem to be subject to a lag like effect. I've tried this on a self-created LAN game and the problem is the same, which seems to rule out any net conditions as the cause.
Although I'm only running a TNT2 graphics card, I'm using a 1.4Ghz Athlon with 256Mb DDR so I'd have thought any problems should be compensated - net graph says I'm getting frame rates capped at 72fps anyway.
If anyone has a suggestion I'd be eternally grateful - I'm suppose to have a clan match tonight as well godammit.

Are you running in D3D?

If so try d3d_flip 0 or 1

I presume you mean in the console? I tried typing it in console during the game, but it said "unknown command".

Sorry that should be gl_d3dflip

It will probably only make a difference if you run in D3D.

Yeah, your problem is definitaley your video card & D3D - I had this ages ago... well frustrating... change your video mode to OpenGL - should sort it...

Ther eis no reason to run cs in d3d mode unless u have an ATI card currently.

No one with a ogl capable card should run hl in d3d mode, d3d is not properly implemented in hl and looks shite.
