Ok so I've got my router, got all the wires in the correct places but the internet wont run on either pc.
I've done everything the manual says...How else can I make it work?

I want to share 1 broadband connection between 2 pc's.

If it's telewest you have then you need to register the mac address of the router with them.

Well, that's what you had to do in the past.

btw some routers can clone the a MAC address, so telling your router to clone the address of the pc that used to be connected to the modem may solve the problem aswell

You say you've got everything wired up OK ... does it look hooked up something like this?

And if it does;

Have you connected to the router and configured it to have an internal IP address on the same network as the 2 PC's? Or whether it is going to act as a DHCP server to your LAN.
Are the 2 PC's set to use the router as their default gateway?
Is the router configured with any of the network settings of your ISP. For example on mine I had to set the DNS servers.
Can you ping the router from either of the PC's. Can you ping any websites? If you can't ping http://www.bluesnews.com by name can you ping it by IP - 216.105.167.65
If you can do the last but not the first then it might be a DNS issue.
Have you cleared any proxy information from your browser? You shouldn't need one if you have the default gateway set up.
