Does anyone else find it weird that we don't seem to have enough of our own tragedy here in the UK to be important so we tend to focus on that from the States?

Woke up to this on BBC Breakfast this morning and just thought (whilst this is horrible) what the fuck does it have to do with the UK?

I found American news was the same as here, there was more then enough news about the UK on at the time we were over there.
