Another Newbie

Just ordered this, been meaning too for a long time now and going by all the threads in here it seems like its well worth the hype. Just a couple of quick questions, i've played CS for years and have played in clans ect and I was wondering how easy is this to get into as a MP game?

Also are the BW servers busy ?

Its pretty easy to get into. I had a bit of a head-start, having played Operation Flashpoint for a year or so before BF1942 came out, but I found this pretty easy to get into and got myself clanned up pretty fast too. There is a lot of depth to the game if you look for it, with the vehicles and the planes, but you can stick to pure infantryman if thats your bag (it more or less is mine, though jeep driving is a special skill that I call my own).

The BW servers...they were really busy for the demo, but they had tailed off recently. They are starting to pick up again now, with Scoobs hassling us to come play every night.

Cheers Will, sounds like there is alot of new toys to play with in game, planes jeeps and tanks. Should have a good old chuckle trying to figure out what the hell im doing. I tend to try my hand at everything when i start playing new games and generally figure out what suits my play style and it looks like there will be quite a few options for me to choose.
