Another n00b question

Hi there, I have just installed Q3:Arenaand the point release 1.32.

The game works fine...

I just downloaded OSP v1.03a from the BW's FTP and unzipped to the q3 directory...

Everytime I try to play on a BW server I get the message saying I need to have punk buster installed :-(

I thought this installed as part of the latest point release patch??

I have a PB directory in the quake III directory and I have even managed a manual update for PB.

But why wont it work??? Do I need to add a command line switch to enable it??

Add the following line at the end of your q3config.cfg file (in the osp directory if your using an OSP server) save then restart.

seta pb_enable "1"

or just type /pb_cl_enable in your console if/when you get that message.

Tried that but it still doesn't work, I get the Punk Buster option when playing mutilplayer Freezetag but still not OSP.

The end of my config file looks like this

seta com_zoneMegs "16"
seta pb_enabled "1"

I am trying to launch the game from the Game site, do I need to add extra options to the Game settings on the launch bar??

Remove the D from enabled so that it reads enable

If still no luck .... when you can't connect, bring down the console by pressing the key left of '1' and above 'tab' and type

/pb_cl_enable (or it could be '/pb_cl_enable 1', I don't remember )

then type

/reconnect

also, make sure you have autodownload on by typing

/cl_allowdownload 1

When I do this it says "Punk Buster Client: Punk Buster client is currently diabled"

I have tried the above but still no luck.

Any Ideas?
