So first of all Im wondering if anyone knows how harsh hasten is on endurance after it wear off, it says in the description that it leaves you exhauted but does anyone have any numbers? (Im trying to figgure out if its worth having)

And second of all, how would a hero with superspeed fare if he tried to get trough places like boomtown with only that traveling power?, Im wondering cause I kindof like the idea of superspeed more then any of the other traveling powers but it seemes very very unpratical. Dunno if that is correct tho or if its just me.

Hasten lasts two minutes. By then I've already been complete out of endurance for 1 and a half minutes. But when I do have end when it wears off, I've not thought it was that bad. I've got no numbers but "not all that bad" is what I'd say. And it's definately worth having as a blaster. Dunno about the other chars.

I think you'd be fine with superspeed... you'd have to be more careful than fliers I guess... but the mobs take a while to react and aren't gonna be able to follow you far at the speed you're going.

i experimented by running through groups of mobs with superspeed and they rarely even got a hit on me before i was a spec on the horizon.

And superspeed is very fast. Much faster than Fly, or even Superjump. I think teleport is the only travel power that's faster... and apparently teleport is an endurance hog :p

I'd just get pissed off using Superspeed, though. Having to find a way around a wall instead of just jumping/flying over it would annoy me to no end :p

Hasten is about 15% end when it wears off - that's just from me eyeballing the end meter though.

TP is a killer on the end - if you start at one side of the map, you can get about 2/3 across before you have to start thinking about falling damage...you get a temporary hover after you TP though, so you do get the chance to regen a little.

Still, I reckon a couple of DO or SO end reductions should sort that out...:)

Doesn't sound that much worse than the other travel powers - without end reduction on Fly you can find yourself falling out of the sky. :p

There's a nice little Teleport FAQ on the official boards. Think it says you get a 2 second hover after you tp.

Gonna get TP on one of my alts, some time :p

Yes I love super jump also.
But as you say it suites melee chars the best, as combat jumping gives +def.

Super speed dont really give you agro when you run through mobs, the chance is kinda low. BUT you can get agro.

But with SS it will be hard to get on roofs and other stuff you need SJ or Flight or TP.

actually it is worse. a lot.
tis sad really, it's the only travel power that requires you to dump some end end reduction in it, at the cost of a range upgrade or an extra slot on another power

I think it's probably a trade-off between end usage and the speed of it - it may be awkward to use and huge on the end cost, but it beats Fly for getting around, from what I can make out

If you didn't put end reduce in fly, you'd end up in the murky harbour waters trying to cross Independence Port

Happened to me a few times.
tho it could've been those guys using me as a skeet shooting target that made sure I crashed, not the lack of end :p

With a SO End Reduce on Fly, I don't lose any end. At all. :D
