Right please no :flame: flameing :flame: , yes cabby's suck der der der but this is a seriouse question...

Is there any spirit/body cabby out there spec'd for the lv 33 30% body de-buff? i have the lv 46 one which is 50% and was wundering if there is a point to it. Surely nothing can have more than 30% resists without buffs, and they would be brought down with the de-buff wouldnt they?

Was just wundering cos if so i would deff trade all those spare points from 33-46 and put them in other lines, was thinking sumint like 33 spirit 34 body and 25 matter. Get ahell of a lot of utillity in that spec imo,

So any1 use the 30% debuff?

before i left Alb, my lvl42 spirit cabby....was full spirt...and had it...and i was gonna spec for the 50% debuff aswell

and no cabbies dont suck....its just that Albion has only just discovered their potential...and in true Albion style every fooker is rolling one now going on what ive seen in Thid

wouldn't a lower lvl spell resist more?

I don't know much about casters, so someone say something about it ;P

Saw something about the debuff duration getting nerfed in NF, dunno if it's related to the new RAs or because of some spell nerf, haven't checked... Do some research on VN or talk to some us players cause if the debuff is rendered near useless then so is the spirit cabby.

AoM in NF stacks badly with resist buffs and item resists - which means the body debuff would not last for very long.. (1, maybe 2 nukes) (80% body resist - 8 second spell 80% off 8 second = 1.6sec)

However, spirit cabalists can debuff spirit, and as the body debuff is on the spirit table, you can debuff spirit, then body, and get near enough the full 8 second duration of the debuff.

Chanters can debuff cold, heat, matter - their debuff spells type is energy (ref: classes of cam)
Runies can debuff cold, heat, matter - their debuff spells type is energy (ref: classes of cam)

Clearly above - the spirit cabalist is in the best boat for self-debuffing, in NF they will be able to self-debuff for nearly max duration (8sec), whereas chanters and RC runies are going be self debuffing for much lower on targets with high Avoidance of Magic. Chanters/RC runies are going to need energy debuff to get max duration out of their self-debuff, which is on another character (void eld, and dark SM).

Spirit cabalists are very useful - especially speccing for the 50% spirit debuff you are a pretty versatile character, being able to self debuff, debuff for body and/or spirit damage casters (mind sorcs, body sorcs, air theurgists), the most destructive albion RvR group currently makes exceptional usage of spirit cabalists and body damage casters - fair play to them.

Would advise speccing 47 spirit for the 50% body and spirit debuffs, rest body.
