annoying win xp pop ups

how do u disable them, khalen told me a way but forgotten now =/ and microsoft hide it really well so u cant do it easily

control panel, admin tools, services

find the messenger service. stop it, and set to manual

(if it's MSN you talking about)
An other way is to deinstall it..

(if it's windows error reporting messages)
Go to my computer -> properties -> advanced -> error reporting and adjust setting there.
