Animists and Wardens

Just came back to the game after a long break and am playing Hib this time round instead of Alb. I'm duoing with my Wife's Eldritch as a Warden and soloing an Animist. How do they both fare in BG's? Although my Animist is uber in PvE i can't see it carrying across to RvR but the Warden seems useful with PBT.

no pbt in BG though

but with some pbaoe and healing in the mushroom field it can take a few of the albs/mids charging around out before you go down

Hmm yes i did know that about PBT, dunno why i put. Just out of interest how would a Warden fair against your average melee class?

well it depends how you count average and how the warden is specced

with no pbt though the warden only really has end regen going for him

though with higher weapon lower nurture they might do ok against thane's and stuff but most melee classes are pretty nasty in thid

decent spec for warden might be 19 blades/blunt 12 regrowth 18 nurture, at least for 24 for a fighting warden

My spec at 24 will be 18 Blades, 11 Regrowth, 19 Nurture, 4 Parry

At 50 it'll be 39 Blades, 26 Regrowth, 45 Nurture, 10 Parry

Animist will be full Arborial.

to find mids and albs you should be looking near mb -> ck -> apk atm..

if you are smart you plant a tangler down mtk as soon as you see the doors opening, then you wait...

..mids will come and see there is an animist about so they will try to find you.. make sure you stand somewhere near the tangler so they spot you.. you then run to a tree which you planted as many pets as you can. you just keep running and let the tanglers + bombers do the rest.. best tactic i can think of tbh.

lure them towards your shrooms and hope they are a bunch of wankers that didn't cap resists and don't know how to beat an ani ;o

i tried hib though to pwn ur silly arse i have to start at level 1 because in hib you have /level 30

shes 12 now and am still doubting about her spec..

anyone has an idea for a NS spec..?

.. i checked daoc.catacombs myself but I'd like to hear your opinions on wether how to spec a NS for Thid.. I have a buffbot.

specced my ns like that. was good and fun

Dommel you dont have to lvl it from 1 to 24 just stop at 20 do train then use respec to get you Auto points :d then click on trainer 4 more times

no lvling at all

I'm leveling a warden atm gonna be 49 nurture 33 regrowth 29 blades

its all about personal preference, i prefer better resists and healing, wardens hit for shit regardles of weapon spec tbh.
