Hurrah! Anime sucks!

I want to know what it was I saw on one of the anime channels on sky around 2 or 3am in the morning whilst I was stoned. The two characters I remember were floating McDonald's fries in the cotainer thingy they give you and a floating drink thingy from McDonald's too. Did that make any sense? It's difficult describing something that made fuck all sense when you see it.

well they are series of shorts directed by the best anime directors about.

ive seen em all an like em more than matrix reloaded

The animation is superb....the people look almost real....When I saw a brief preview I thought they were showing parts of Reloaded.

The stories fit around the Matrix films very well.

kids story and the one with the house (cant remember the name) were my favourites.

It comes out on dvd/video on monday. £11.99 from Play.com. I've already pre-ordered it, along with Futurama series 3.

Unfortunately the above is only true of one of the shorts, Final Flight of the Osiris.

The rest are pretty good but it's obvious where 90% of the budget went!

I thought they were amazing.

1. The house one
2. The one showing why they uprised (the second rennaiscane)

However, the one with the athlete (world record).......well......lets just say that compared to Vampire Hunter D, it isnt his worlds best

Beyond was stunning, I agree. Kids story had amazing animation, tons of energy. The other watanabe one, detective story, was so bebop (complete with kinda sad bebop esque ending). Matriculated had the expected incredible character design though. Aeon would have fit right in

it'll have been CNX you saw it on. most adult swim stuff is average, but Sealab 2021 and ATHF never fail to crack me up.
