Animatrix good/bad.

Just got Animatrix, wondering what other people thought of the stories? I thought that some where good, but others where just weird. Well animated though.

the first one and the haunted house ones was the best. the worst one was the stupid robot dream rescue one.

but then, you all already know what i think. its in some other thread. or two.

Especially liked the two parts of Second Renaissance. And Final flight of the Osiris is great too.

Final flight is the best CGI I've seen in a very long time. I avoided the web sneak peaks and the temptation to aquire the whole thing in some naughty way.

My favorite was the runner one. Strangly animated but I like the concept and the sound.

What I'd really be interested in would be a remake of the 3 live action films into Anime. That would be great.

Why bother, when the matrix is more or less a remake of every anime out there. The closest match is ghost in the shell, get that.

Oh, and I thought the animatrix was pretty lame. Last flight of the osiris was ok, except that it was 90% lamo construct strip samurai fighting. Granted, it was a fairly nice arse as CG arses go, but it was pretty pathetic. Kids story was my favourite because it put me back in touch with the thoughts/feelings conjured up by the first matrix. Which is good.

I bought the DVD the other day and loved them all, except the one where they capture the robot etc and prance around with the funny colours. My favourite has to be FFOtO ofc, Kid's Story i found really good, because when i went to see Reloaded i really wanted to know how Neo "saved" his life as he claimed, and the story explains it nicely Also the Detective story was good, much like Cowboy Bebop and and and ... i could go on, loved em all excluding the one mentioned above Was a tad short, but i would of probably said that if the thing ran for 3 hours Well worth the buy if you are an anime/matrix fan.

I just watched this and thought it was excellent, does anyone know if they are planning to make anymore episodes?. I particularly liked The Second Renaissance - Parts I and II, the prologue to the movies, explaining how things are the way they are.

There were a couple of episodes where I thought WTF is going on here, but overall I'm very impressed.

I agree, I thought they were pretty boring and didn't really contribute a great deal to the matrix world. Oh yeah the final flight of the osiris was just plain pervy tbh... only decent one outta the lot
