ancestral secrets/ gem of the dwarven king

Anyone else have problem with these 2 quests today ?


Ancestral secrets step 2 Longbeard refueses to talk to me even when writing the words that is given! This also happend to a SB that was trying to take the quest.


Dwarven king

I get to step 6 where i have to search the crater for the box.
I get to the crater where i get "you search for the box etc ". I stayed in that hole over 1 h and nothing happens, i know its the right one. Another player stayed there for 2 h yesterday and came back today but he didnt get it either...


anyone experienced the same and managed to solve it in the end ?

I had to trundle up and down that fissure for a good 10 minutes before I 'found' the box. It renders you incapable of movement (so Hopefully you don't attract an aggro mob while you unlock it).

done gem of dwarven king twice,
first time i found the box at once when i got the
"u search for the box"
second time it took like 20mins moving about in the hole or what to call it.

I managed to get passed Lonbeard on Ancestral secrets!

I cant seem to figure out gem of the dwarven king tho, i moved around in that hole for over 1 h with giffy i walked/ran sat down and no result, i even tested that loc from warcry but still no result. Also tested with my zerk and nothing happend there either, so i guess ill just leave that quest for a while
