Ancestral Secret quest

I just wanted to warn people who are doing the Ancestral Secret quest.

Before you return the stone to the NPC in Bjarken, make sure your inventory is not full or you'll end up like I did. What happened to me was that when I returned the stone to the NPC in Bjarken, I didn't realize that my inven was full so the NPC said: "Your inventory is full. I'll just drop this on the ground." But, then he ported me to Dyrfell so I could talk to another NPC! So I rushed back to Bjarken praying that the notes were still there but they weren't

Although I got the 4x10% resist necklace but I want to finish the quest

I have messaged RightKnow about this hoping they can do something. If not, I'll be very angry

Errr... I would be careful how you complain to GOA about a borked quest.

10:1 they'll just reset the quest so you can start all over again (which means you'll likely not be lucky and get the necklace again)

In a future patch they fix the quest so all have a chance to get that all middies get a chance to get that necky Not that its the greatest necky in the world as some of the resists are easily capped from other quested SI items.

I have modelled my SC template after this necklace, so I would just like to have a confirmation of the stats.


Beaded Resisting Stone

Crush 10%
Thrust 10%
Cold 10%
Body 10%



Are the stats fixed like above or will it choose randomly?
