I am normally in charge of the queue system when I am in malmo, I have never got stressed out, and others have had nothing but praise for my organisational skills there... here's what I do.
1) Every person that send me a private message or asks for a group next and i hear them gets put on the list. This has led to some busy days more than 30 people on the list - people ask if I can give names so they can form new groups, if they are still there I do, but I let everyone play an alt if they want and send their alt a tell when they are up - no one likes to sit doing nothing for 3 hours.
2) The groups take preference over the queue - ie. if we can't pull because a healer, tank, or RM is needed, they will be picked over any other class. Esp. if they are of high level.
I have had next to NO problems in malm, even when not running the queue. What causes problems is people being impatient and shouting "p0000000000l" when the groups aren't ready.
I have made level 41 - almost 50 in about 4 weeks. And that's taking big breaks and missing several days play at a time too.
