Hi :D
Got a bit of a problem here, every time I either run all-seeing eye or click 'update' in the in-game browser, not only does it return no servers (connects to master servers, says pinging xxxx servers, but the list is just blank at the end of it) but after I do it, everything internet-related is FUBAR.... IE can't find pages, Kazaa won't connect, server browser can't find the master servers anymore, etc etc... only thing that works is that IRC stays connected.
Oddly though the rest of the computers on my network (I'm sharing cable across it) can ping IP's that I time out to...
Confused!
Help!

I think I know the answer :-]

Your proxy/router allows a maximum number of queries from your machine and updating even a small list of game servers from your machine will go way past this.

I thought of that, but two things: first, I can't find any such rule, filter or setting in WinroutePro, and while that might be just me missing something... if i install ASE on a comp accessing the net through my comp, that comp also has the same problems APART from the bit where the connection gets screwed over :p
ASE still won't give me a list of servers though. ;(

Why not try adding the ip of a known server to your favourites in ASE and then ping/refresh that. At least that will tell you if it's a problem with a big list of servers.

Winroute pro definitely has that problem, check your error logs and see if it's reporting that the connection limit is reached (default maximum is 128 per host). You can change this by editing registry settings. See toward the bottom of:
