Hello Armspeople (how PC)

I would like to see how my healer fares against an Armsman 1v1 if there are any Armsmen/Ladies here that would like to put me through my paces please post then we can PM to arrange a time and a place

My healer is not full Aug BTW only 27 in this line.

History:
Last night I got jumped by Karimkazi near lake in Emain and won, then got aggro from rtm Mindworm and did not win

Night before Rambo Jumped me at amg, fool
Paid me back yesterday though when he was with another 3 infils a paladin and a minstrel.

This is why I would like to test my healer with a proper tank

hmm healer vs armsman... I thinkyou would last maybe 10 seconds hehe (maybe 20 with instant heals)

but ofcourse healers can use their instant 'chicken out' (instant stun/mez or whatever that really is) when they're losing

i should imagine it would be a stalemate, if i had purge you die if i get lucky and resist your stun you die otherwise you can stun me and run off but i dont fancy your chances of actually beating me tbh. i can be found in emain daily but the chances of an uninterupted duel nowadays seems slim. i can see it now... we fight out of interest, not to the death and as we sit down to rest several things could happen... I get jumped by 25 shadown00bs just as you get jumped by about (slightly less tbh) 20 zergfils. OR one of the two of us get zerged my 20FG's of hibs (do that many hibs play? )

When I was fighting Karimkazi I did not insta mezz/stun as we had already played the mezz game getting close to each other

I do have a attack speed debuff shout aswell which I spam as I have no fighting styles so have nothing else to do in a fight, apart from watch my health and hit insta heals at relevant times

"hrodelbert" PM me and we can arrange a nice quiet spot not in emain for a fight just want to see how the stacks up against uber tank, I dont mind if its to the death then it will make it more worth while to you or me, we can always use rps.

Note to all crying Duel GOA rules etc. if we are 1v1 and no other players there to rez us it does not break the rules

You are here, organizing it, making it a PLANNED duel, hence, against the rules.

If you fight to death, i'd go as far as taking my personal time to go there and screw up your duel.

if you fight to near-death, its not really that horrible a breach. But still a breach

Having a rezzer each present, just makes it A: dueling and B: farming, breaking another rule in the process.

Many players have been wondering what was the official stance of the event team regarding duels. In order to answer this question, we need to clarify what is hiding behind this simple word; duel.

- The unexpected duel, one versus one, leading to the death of the escape of one of the two fighters.
- The organised duels with “healer” classes, able to bring back to life slain players.

In the first case, it is an honourable (or not so honourable) duel, with which we have no problem as long as it is unplanned and exceptional.

In the second case however, we face an alteration of the game, allowing players to do what we call “RP farming”, the act of “farming” realm points doing many “controlled” duels and sparing the healing classes. For such situations, we will not take direct sanctions against the players even if it is an alteration of the Gameplay. However, do not be surprised if your whole party is slaughtered by wandering guards, friendly jousts have no place when there is realm war going on!

I am merely doing part one of the rules, as there are no healer present (apart from myself) to rez either of us (cant rez myself), As this would be a one of release come back fight then the threat of a guard zerg is not valid. So come if you want liste but wait your turn no details of where to meet will be posted here so happy hunting

We are not breaking this rule, we are definately not sparing the healing classes (me) it is organised so much as we are arranging to go to a place at a time, but 1v1 not rp farming

btw after we get 1.54, no one may use the new /duel command, cos that breaks teh rules too cos those won't be unexpected either and sure, they're not rp farming, but in this example where a healer wants a one off fight vs an armsman (which sin't rp farming either) you're saying it's not allowed.. similarily the kinds of duels you would have using the /duel command are against the rules in a similar fashion...

paladins can outlast anyone, and thats why they keep winning duels against armsmen on the US Engage and let healchant fully restore HP (there are tricks to keep them from doing this tho)

problem is healer fight unstyled.
can't fire defenders rage / revenge for that reason and engage is useless against unstyled opponents.

i do think twisting chants is the way to go against healers.

probably FH and FA2 and IP would make a paladin win any 1 vs 1
you need a shitload of rps for that though

don't think an assasin can win a 1 vs fight versus a healer unles he is able to kite him/her and switch weapon 2 or 3 times
