Yesterday he was lvl 47. By the time I seem him later he's probably gonna be 48 lol.

Amazing isnt it. Cabalists were gimped. You had to be deranged to start one. Just as 2H pallas, air or ice theurgs, anything else than fire wizzes and i can go on and on.

The "expert" opinion of some can ruin the playing experience for a lot of people. You end up with a realm that has the diversity of an East German industrial housing block.

I don't even want to exp with em (wouldn't force a lvl50 to exp )
I wanted to try something which a friend of mine, who plays in US, managed to pull off. To cut a long story short it involved killing all the barfog epics except mordred, with a lvl50 cabalist, a minstre, and 3 clerics. (one enhance 2 rejuv)

Admittedly 2 high-lvl rejuv clerics wouldn't be amazingly easy to find, the enhance one probably less so and a lvl50 matter cabalist.... i might as well forget it.

Hi -dont think the group work on current european patchs.

At the moment dots are nerfed badly with a dmg limiter of 1.25-i think for dd,s its around 4.

In patch 1.51 in USA a lvl 46 matter cab can solo the entire Pygmy goblin camp using stackable dots-this gives you about 300mil exp.


I plan to respec matter when 1.51 comes for now body is the way to go.

Cabalists?

As a matter of ineterest there do seem to be alot of low lvl Cabbies around (compared to how many ther eused to be) and the numbers of them are similar to the amount of Friars that can be seen on the server as well.

However there are alot more Friars at higher lvls than Cabalists as far as I can see the reason seems to be if a Cabalist joins a group what exactly do most groups ask them to do? I have absoloutely no idea where they fit it in to any group and nor do most people if they were honest...

At least when my Friar joins a group ppl know roughly what you can do tank/2nd healer etc.

I prolly just look st00pid for saying i dont know what exactly Cabalists do but I'm not the only one I bet

PS is it me or do those simulacrums look like Darts Players?

depending on their speccing they can double as backup healer
they can add to the to-hit change of a mob with their golem
they can nuke nice.
and pets can play with adds a bit or peel mobs off healers/casters if needed
+they are very rare and should get all the help they can get. esp since it's our only nearsighter
