An Alternative for Fraps

Does anyone know a decent video recording software _apart_ from Fraps?

Good quality and NOT 30seconds long !

I downloaded the new fraps today and it sawks ! 30s is like wtf :E Tried to find my old one but can't ;/

I'd like to know please

getting some fantastic results from the new fraps, all you need to do to lose the 30 sec record time is pay around $15 for life, good value imo.

on a side note if you use it with the fps on for a couple of sessions and try to take a note of your average fps. then set fraps to record at that fps. seems to make things much better, i am getting pretty much game quality recordings at 40 fps, will probably degrade slightly on encoding but i will have to see.

you can aford to play daoc ... fraps was 5$ when I brought it ages ago thats like £2.40 you telling me you carnt afford that ?
