K, i'm a bit of an ignoramus when it comes to muzac hardware so, could you lovely people point me in the right direction to a good amp. I got some nice 100W speakers today (Gale :)) and i'd like a respectable amp to go with them. Looking at a budget of say *£100? If this has been done before, please don't hesitate to link.

Dunno if they still do it, but I'm fairly happy with my rotel RA-921 which is my old budget amp. Should be about 100 squid if it's not discontinued

See Summo's thread: Make my PC Sound Good!

Some amp suggestions in there. I'd go with one of the Cambridge Audio ones - good prices and very good quality.

Yush. I'm also an ignoramus, but I'm pleased with my new Cambridge Audio A5. Retails for £120 or so but mine was ex-demo at £75.

As the others have said, go into Richer Sounds, tel them your budget and what you want an amp for (type of music, whether DVDs will play through it etc) and they'll sort you out.
