AMD related shennanigans

Right, I've just toasted my ADM thoroughbred 2200+.

I laugh now, as I've just plonked in my old AMD1200MHz.
It works on my MB which is a EpoX K3A.

Now I've checked EpoX's site, and it says no problems with a throughbred XP (266Mhz) up to 2600+
My question is this:
The site also says up to throughbred XP (333Mhz) up to 2800+

So this means I can plonk in th 333Mhz cpu without any probs. However, I don't know if it would cause difficulties with my memory, which is the samsung summat or other that worked with the 266Mhz.

Due to my lack of understanding of the whole bus speed etc, I don't know if I would have to replace any memory to get the 2800+ (ie not worth it for me).
But I ask because the price diff is only £10 or so, and if it would work, I would do it.

Anyone know where to look? I've searched the net to no avail....

The CPU and memory can run at different frequencies. Don't worry about it too much, you just slot them in and it should work.
