How do you go about taking the Fan off the AMD Chip?

I got a new AMD 2200 tonight which im gonna put on my current PC, but i dont wanna be messing with it if its the wrong way of taking it off.

I know you're gonna need a screwy... then what? :/

Well i had fun today messing about with the CPU...

After 3hours of fiddling about with my old chip (1800+) and the new one (2200+), i gave up the chase because i found out the chip/bios wasnt supported by the motherboard.

Which pissed me off immesly...

But i also come across a problem where if i reset the PC, the monitor refuses to come on (instead i get a light flickering). To sort it i had to move my USB mouse to another port (Looks like the USB port has blown recently).

Then i have to take out the power lead and press the power button, then put the lead back in...

Looks like there is a hardware failure elsewhere now.


Have to admit tho, ive become MASTER! of taking the CPU Fan off/Putting it back on now, the number of times ive done it today :/
