Am I stuck in Muspelheim and Darkness Falls, then?

I recently capped out of Thidranki, currently possitioned myself at level 27. I was supposed to wait for my clan Jarl's to reach 24 with me, so we could head there together, but I wanted and needed to raise some money for the clan (do not misunderstand my use of clan, here.) Now, I just finished off a quest for a smith in Veldon that made me a maul I was supposed to use in the frontier. It was a level 25-26 quest, I think, which means it's supposed to encourage me to go to war.

However, several people suggest that I DON'T go to war, because I will die in 1-3 hits and I'll fail to damage them doors.
So, am I really stuck at fighting the same looking monsters all the time, or will I be able to decorate my beard with elven blood?

You can always go to the next BG, then we could meet again ;)

otherwise Im afraid your stucked to fight mobs til you reach atleast 40+

It sucks... after 24 you have to get to 40 before standing a moderate chance of survival in the frontier :(

Oh... now that's just cheap. What an ugly way of keeping people to pay o.ô

my advice to you -

Find people to play with on a regular basis.

Once you get to 40, you can get a group in malmohus

I reccomend sticking LOTS of people on your friends list.

Anyone you grp with for a time, stick 'em on there.

So if you need a group, check your friends list first.

oh, and good luck...

3 of my guildies had to solo to 40 from day 1 because there were no groups going. They started a buff bot, and leveled the bot as they went along... not sure if it's viable to you, but it does make things easier.

Pity there´s never really that many people in the lvl 25-29 and 30-36 bgs. So you´re basicly stuck to lvl to somewhere around lvl 40. lvl 46+ for standing a decent chance really.

Problem is only people I know that doesn't m8 all the time use these odd languages that's supposed to be English are level 50's.
Except my own clan, of course. But I chose to not wait for them to reach the same level as I because gold was needed.

Hmmh... guess I could contact Bjaldur of the Mist. Alas, I don't think Nyd has anyone around my level.

Anyways, I thought that they removed the tohit level rule so that low level people could hit high level people with no problem.
Taking into concideration that 50th Paladin that let me kill him did have to remove his shiny epic armor to allow me to hit him for the damage I'm worth.

uh uh uh

I know the this one

uh uh uh pick me pick me!

You say you are stuck killing the same old looking monster ??

Well what the hell do you thing every one else ?? the only variation you'll get in rve is when you more to a new spot. Now live with it.

Or got to the next bg, its not as great as the first one but its there.

Now happy hunting.

PS. Ashens Maul is great to kill with in RvR, but then again I had it back in the days when emain was ruled by 20 to 30 level people and not 50 level people.

Well you can hit em, thing is that you die in one hit and there´s lot of aggro lvl 32-33 mobs in the way.

Ulfgar, there are a lot of friendly players out there who either roleplay or prefer to type in normal English.

Try playing with different people, and you'll see ;)
I have had great success and of course the odd failure - but generally I meet nice people when I play.

As for rvr, yup - not a lot of fun these days between 25 and 40, but it all comes down to the risk you're willing to take.
A small group of lower levels can do a small insurgence and have great fun - but you do carry the risk of being zerged the minute you leave your PK, as zerging is what rvr is about these days :(

Since when did Bjaldur tried to type normal english?
or is his out of guild image different from his in guild one? :p

anyway. give Colossal a send sometimes.
tho she's afraid of big groups, I'm sure she's willing to duo a bit.

It is still possible to go RvR from the mid thirties - if you can get a decently balanced group together it will make up for a lot though casters have a much harder time with the level difference in RvR these days so stick to melees n hybrids although a PBT runey is always welcome.

See if you can get a Skald for speed, a pac/mend healer and a high Aug (End Regen) shaman - fill the rest out with tanks n hybrids.

If everybody assists and you always target healers/casters first you should eventualy get a few realm points.

Plus this way you never have to worry about being outplayed since youll never find yourself against a lower con opponent :)

Bjaldur has already outleveled me, so there wont be no me contacting him.
I've gotten a level 50 to take me out whenever he goes out, though, so hopefully there will be something for me, and will help me get Mastery of Pain before it's pointless for me to get it.

i had to solo to my current level of 37 after thid.

DF is good against plateds till 26-7 then move into Valruvhamn and hope for the best realy.

a duo with a skald or other dt reducing class reaps decent xp pretty fast :)

Well, I've recently followed the crowd to Emain and fought off some invaders with a little help from a couple of level 50's and gained quite a few points. And I finally got First Aid after wasting in Tireless and Augment Dexterity (thought that realm spec was only level 20 to 21).
