alt + tabbing

is there anyway in which you can alt+tab in daoc classical mode?, i have to use classical client due to lag problems etc, but its annoying because i have some virus which keeps sending pop ups, and knocking me off game, although i have pop up stopper.

run a spy wear destroyer .. like adaware or spybot or something will prob get rid of it.. erm not played classic client for 2 years cant tell you

tried adaware few times, said it cleared numerous files but nothing has changed

Same here. Adaware is supposed to do the job. But it doesn't seem to do it.

Get Spybot - I've found it often unearths nasties that Adaware misses.

It's probably not spyware. It sounds like you have the netsend messenger service running and your on either win2k or win xp.

Start > Run > services.msc

Find the messenger entry and right click it and go to properties. You need to disable the service and then set it to stopped. Reboot and the problem should be gone.

If your on about proper web page based pop-ups then your better off gettin SpyBot Seek & Destroy.

ok i did spybot search and it 'cleared' a few viruses or something, but i now have another problem ( not cause by any of this )


but when i click to explorer i get this pop up along the bottm task bar, it adds a link into my homepage on tools - internet - homepage.... and whenever i change it back it auto changes its self... its something called searchexe... ill get you the link when it next does it.

if you search on the net for it you will find ways to stop it.
zonealarm has a pest stopper its free to download but you have to manually remove the pests from your system unless you buy it but it does tell you where they are.
