Alt+Tab under Win2k/Voodoo2

Heya,

Can anyone suggest a driver combination to get my Voodoo2 to Alt-Tab in

Quake3?

Ive tried all the Win2k drivers off the 3dfx webby, and the NT4 ones :/

Any Quake3 settings, Win2k settings or drivers anyone can suggest?

And, has anyone got it working?

ur fu@ked, v2 will NOT alt-tab in q3 on any operating system.

I use Win2k with a V3 and ALT TAB don't work and prolly never will.

To get round this, I just press the Windows key . .

i had a v2 sli setup almost from the day they came out upto a couple of mths ago (gforce2 now )and in all that time alt-tab could be discrabed as "flakey at best"

only a select few games EVER alt-tabed for me and q3 DEFF was NOT one off them.

i was told that it is due to them using a mini open gl driver, but all that reley clunking sounded more likly to me

ps. use the wickedGL drivers for a nice litle speed bost in q3

Not sure about Q3, but I could alt tab out of Q2 on my V2 (but only with a certain version of the mini-gl)

I upgraded the mini-gl to the latest release (at the time) and found that 3DFX had disabled alt-tab . .

Might be worth trawling thru the web boards on the 3dfx site ?

You're all bloody dumb.... of coarse you can ALT-TAB, although you have to ALT-ENTER first..... I can even play Q3 in a small window while sufing the web... Jeeezzz guys..!!

Have you tried setting up a script which u can use to switch r_fullscreen between '1' and '0' ? That might work.
