NP but really do have to treat its as an rpg, seen lots of reviews where ppl treat it like a shooter and flame it. Example being you have accuracy stats so you dont auto hit a target when u shoot them. For some reason this has incensed some ppl.
The conversation system tho is uber and interactive. I was having a convo with some person and the character put hand inside their coat while convo was going on so i quickly clicked the atatck option to shoot them while we was talking. Turned out theyw as just getting phone out so i killed them for no reason lol

hehe i am afraid i am one of those people :( well sort of.
I played it closer to games like stalker than a vanilla fps, the interaction is really clever but i can't explain it but the gameplay just didnt sit right with me.
Not the right section i am sure it is much better on console but on the pc the mouse never felt quite right (it is like deadspace, mass effect 1) and the whole thing felt sluggish

At start of game my character couldnt hit a barn door but by end after speccing pistols,i could almost one shot every non boss with head shots and even had a dead eye style ability to take out upto 6 at once. Because it is stat based it means at start you can try a head shot and sometimes it will hit and sometimes it wont giving the illusion that the aiming isnt working. Truth is your dice roll just wasnt high enough!
Think only way to play it and enjoy fully is to treat as a proper rpg where it is stat based and based on character progression.

Thanks Talivar that helped me decide to get it or not. I defiantly will when it comes down in price as I'm a big rpg fan :)

The PC controls are pretty poor, the game itself though isn't bad at all. There seems to be enough story to keep me playing.

Been playing it a while, and you need a controller to play it on the PC. It needs a patch to get mouse/keyboard working properly.

Shame really, it's a good game, but flawed. I hope Obsidian beat their curse on new vegas!

I got it at release on PC and though there are one or two glitches, all in all it's actually totally playable. The game got utterly shit on but I thought it was far more fun than it was given credit for.

Got a free copy but probably won't ever play it. Meh. RPGs aren't really my thing.
