The character Alan Partridge does not ROCK.
The whole premise is that he is a whining, snivelling, greedy manchild trapped in his 40s wondering desperately trying to mask the fact his life is shit.
However, if you intended to express your opinion that you find the character amusing then I concur.
Carry on, that is all.

Like Ali G, I'm getting very tired of Alan Partridge. I saw him (Coogan) live a couple of years ago and that was fantastic (the Kate Bush medley, heh) and Knowing Me, Knowing You With Alan Partridge (KMKYWAP to it's friends) was also very very good, but he's running out of ideas and it's showing, in my opinion.

I agree callous.
I used to love pretty much everything Coogan did, verging on fanboi territory in fact which is most unlike me.
That's the problem - same OLD, same OLD. I even heard he's doing a new Paul Calf tv thing... Much as I love Paul Calf, some comedians know when its time to kill of characters and progress. Coogan ain't one of them sadly.
Fs I even flogged all my Coogan vids just last week bleh.

Alan Partridge is just boring and cringeworthy now.
Ali G was indeed funny back on the 11 o clock show.
So was Ricky Gervaise and Ian whatshisnamenowdoingRI:SE.
ALi G got his own show and went completely boring.
Ricky Gervaise made his own show and it rocked.
Ian whatshisnamenowdoingRI:SE is funny, but only when he is allowed to swear, which he isnt on daytime TV.
