All the old CS maps

I read the thread on the cs box set and i think this mentioned some peeps wanting the old maps in rotation.

Well i was going through some of my games setting up gamma profiles for my geforce (cos gl is way too dark on geforces)and i was testing it out in single player. I went to lan came and suddenly there was a list of about 40 or more (i think) maps. I thought that they had been taken out so i tryed to load em, and they worked!!!

Now i've hardly played any of these maps, and i know some had their flaws but it would be a lot better to play em again. I for one am getting tired of the same old maps on the servers (a little variation would be nice).

How does everyone else feel about this. I'll post back later with all the maps i have (to see if there is any more - sunday ill be home)

It would just rock, imo, to have a few servers rotating these maps.

Did you install full Beta 7, or upgrade through the patches?

i upgraded through the patches from about 5 or summin, so i prolly aint got all the maps that were ever on there Like i said on fri, i'll post back tonight with the maps that i have, for comarison etc..

well thats all i have.

I know there has been a lot off custom maps made for cs, but why not run a server with some custom and some old ones on it.

I'm sure many peeps would want this

Cos i haven't even played half the maps on this list (non 7.1 maps that is)

Jolt already run a custom server.

yeah i thought there would be servers running the old maps!

I just wanted to get barrys to run a few, as they are the premier gaming organisation in the uk.....

i dinna like jolt servers

jolt seems to lag me,they always have and it seems to take more shots too kill someone.and isn't the point of this post to get BW to run a custom server??

Yep, and if we point out that a 'competitor' is running a custom map server already then maybe, just maybe, BW will do it properly and show jolt how it's done.

yeah it's a shame i've had to play on the jolt servers - pings r good though (for me)

sigh, i wonder when barrysworld will reach such a standard (hehehe)


in otther words - get some custom map servers!!!!!!!!!!
