ToA is the death of DAOC for the casual gamer - ie me....

i like toa i think its helped the game quite a bit as it's given some class's which normally dont have a chance in rvr e.g casters bit more of a chance :>

ToA needs loads of time me thinks, so for ppl that have little time i guess most of them are gonna answer that they dont like it.

I laugh at ppl saying you cant RvR without SC/MLs/RRs.
My hunter got to rr6 in his epic and at times I owned with him.
I put more time into my guild than into my chars. Still I can compeet.

One of mythics worst ideas and a stupid amount of work you have to do if you want to stay competative in rvr.

Well sometimes toa is pretty fun, basically when you get something new. However most of the time toa is really frustrating.. i've never got so pissed in any game ever before than at some situations in toa.

ToA roxs. Not cus of the "awesome" gfx or so. I actually like the idea of ML's aswell. Its not the type of PvE i thought it would be, I thought it would be like farming same shit over and over again, lair/moderna style PvE since I had'nt read anything bout ToA before it got realesed. Either way, I enjoy it, brings smth to RvR which roxs. If SI would still be here, i'd prolly wouldnt play. ToA 4tw!

Personally I´ve done RvR & MLs at the same time, also some artifacts. Been fun

Without toa stuff you cant do good rvr.. only get invited to some shitty random groups.

i like the idea of toa
and i agree with kathal yes u need sc but u dont need toa items to compeet in rvr. the 10% extra dmg aint much if u normally hit for 500 u hit fir 550 instead, i think it more some of the new charges and some of MLs like BG and grapple there make the difrent

i tought ToA would be fun but i was really wrong, toa sucks hate that u have to camp spots to get artis then u have to farm scrolls if u dont want to buy them for xx plats, and now as a tank u dont stand a chance imo casters rock ToA

-To begin with i hated ToA a lot..then after ml3 it started to be ok..
Now i think its great fun to go on big ml raids.
I like changes to a game i play that much over such a long period.
I give ToA a 7/10.

-ToA means new template, ml, artifacts...lots of new items, many hunts.
I never used to be on hunts etc before..usualy only roam rvr and farm df from time to time...ToA have changed that for me.
And I enjoy this game even more with ToA.

Too much pve, and the main reason ive stayed in daoc is for rvr, also the part of spending days to get some artis, and weeks/months for MLs doesnt sound too great to me

I like TOA, however I don't like the way it was substandardly tested all in the name of 'keeping the Trials secret'

What it means for me is that like Asty said, you have to do more than take your SM+leech to Moderna and then farm DF for a few hours to get enough cash for an SC suit before you can be competative.

I like exploring TOA - I think for casual gamers like myself it's a waste of time to try the master levels/artifacts since by the time we get them they'll release another patch/update nerfing them or replacing them with better items.

I've never been able to keep up with the 24/7 people anyway

Agree up to a point but frontiers will balance it even more (on paper) lets hope they dont fuck it up.

toa's pretty good tbh, most people in toa are lame....selfish and childish tbh.

Everything ive done with guild has been gr8, anything with randoms they leave when they get thier item, lie or even steal others items. Some guilds policies of "toa" are pretty lame too, so stlong irl they must feel. QQ

as it seems that a healer without ML wards and stuff is a lower lvl healer ive tried to do my ML´s but as i cant play 24/7 and dont want to spend my playinghours looking for a group i never find (yes ive been looking for ML groups for hours) toa just doesnt feel fun at all.

2) But i think the ML's are gonna ruin the game alittle, now the Mg's camping is gonna get overcrowded with the healing and powerwards imo ^^

Toa screws the casual gamer....I see some of my guildies so left out cos they can't play Toa 24/7. IN the end that hurts us all as players leave the game. Some master levels are fine but alot of it is awful tedious or bugged shit. It also brings out the worst in players with greed and whine.

Set against that love the new areas, the arties, the effort and thought thats gone into parts. Can't leave the dam thing alone....

I love DAOC and will enjoy Toa along with anything else but I think it was bad error by Mythic to exclude the people with kids and a life
