I was commanding on one of the Blueyonder NS servers just now, with a pretty good team, including one 'er > Reject'.
Now I've played under Reject before, and I have to give him credit - hes a good soldier and commander. So I had some respect for the guy. Anyway, we were doing well, had 2 hives, and plenty of cash, and Reject had done me a big favour by jetpacking in with a hmg and destroying a hive. That delayed the aliens by about 15 minutes, long enough for us to start building sieges around that hive.
All the way through this game, I had Reject speaking down his mic, saying 'comm look at me, follow me, do this, do that, ffs' - you get the picture. This, I can stand, because he was doing a pretty good job. He was by no means winning the game on his own - lots of other good marines were doing a great job.
Anyway, after I started knocking Reject down, because of his increasingly hysterical outbursts about what I should be doing, I made the mistake of leaving my comm chair to pick up some armour and hmg that I had dropped in case a skulk got to my chair. WHOOSH! Reject was in that chair faster than you can say...well....anyway, what do you think he did next?
Command with excellence?
Drop himself some stuff?
Or did he dismantle everything we had, and let us all die?
You guessed it. Everybody was pretty annoyed about this, including some of the (losing) aliens. Imagine - everybody had armour and hmg, plenty of res, and one hive remaining - a good game, that had been going on for over an hour. Now, we were going to lose.
You know what he said? 'Tom was being a knob, so I dismantled everything'. And this guy claims to be a clan leader? Some of the players got demos, I hope they get posted, because this guy isn't a team player. He deliberately ruined everybody else's game, just because I didn't show him enough 'respect'
Opinions, please.
