***ALL NEW*** 1.63 Shadowblade MP SC Suit

They apparently boost the Epic reward items in 1.63, meaning Midgard finally has some 45+ utility belts readily available \o/.

If a SB fix goes in to counter the evil LA gutting then I may come back to DAoC and actually make this suit, nonetheless, its adamn fine SC suit imo for a class with 4 stats and 5 skills to fill.

Only 2 of them are anywhere near hard to get:

BoI : common as muck can buy one for 700-1000G or farm one in a couple hours

GG cloak is a bit harder to get esp with this anal tossing GG we have now.

Rest are guaranteed quest items. (beaded stones and Quin Jewel you can get by repeating the Ancestral Secrets quest till you get em).

Just a coment...prolly just a glitch. On the 2h Weap: 3pt OC atm. Increase gems to 99%qua and use the 2 last imbuepoints aswell Dex i.e since it aint caped while weilding the 2h

And I asume ur not using lvl51 weaps since they havent got 32 imbue pts.

yea its a nice template but its all bassed on geting a drop that is as rare as finind solo alb in emain.
is it a realistic template can it be done with out that cloak acording to stats info there is but 3 of them in mid with those stats your talking a few p 1x + if one goes up for sale

When i was GM of HeadHunters I peronally organised a GG hunt, we took 2.5 groups and killed him and got 3 cloak drops (Caster, SB, Hunter), and I won it in lotto between myself and Hoster (Hoster then got one on another GG hunt I organised a week later so both happy )

Ofc this was before GG started tossing dwarfs for fun

Biggest problem in this game is people can't be arsed to organise stuff for themselves and then go on about rare items being unobtainable

Probably easier to farm a GSSM for templates, drop rates are shitter I guess, but an easier kill and better lotto chances.

it is an easier kill, but lotta chances are probably worse, owing to the fact every class can roll for GSS cloak, whilst only one/a few classes can roll for the glacier cloaks since they are rather class specific.. meanng if the one you want drops.. you've a much highr lotto chance than you would on a GS raid, even if the GS raid had fewer ppl

imo 2H critblades are not as versatile and viable as a dual wielding critblade, so +11 LA and 2 weapons is essential regardless of whether you remain 5spec, SZ or go CB.

As a 2H CB if you can afford a MP 16.5dps 2Her then your pretty much set to go eitehr way and this template works just as well.

I would likely respec to:

44 Axe
39 CS
34 Env
34 Stealth
25 LA

with DR2 and RR5 I wouldl have an effective 52 LA spec which makes this a viable SB spec. Its basically the most popular NS spec
