That settles it then. Absolutely no question - the Marsians were testing their meteors containing tripods in preperation to invade us and one crashed. They will undoubtedly be here by next summer and we are all doomed.

Still all is not lost. Gene Barry may not be around anymore, but Tom Cruise and his Scientology minions are here to save us.
