If you really cared about solo'ers being zerged you would not have made a thread for the zergers of one realm. Most people zerg, because that's the way most people enjoy playing. As a solo'er you should be prepared to get zerged, if you can't handle that, you're playing the wrong game. I must agree with Kalidur and Flimgoblin here: if you want only 1vs1, you should play Tekken. The different situations is what makes this game so enjoyably for me. Sometimes you find one opponent, sometimes you meet two and manage to win and yes, sometimes you get zerged without standing a chance.

Making a thread to vent your frustration is generally not a good idea. You will only end up winding others up, which will lead to flame. Flame leads to anger. Anger leads to suffering. Suffering leads to the dark side. There are better ways to vent your frustration, ways which don't involve you insulting other people. Please be more considerate next time.

I think people who get "zerged" or even see a zerg whipe out everything and anything in its path, be that soloers duoers or even full groups get annoyed because they doesn't understand the fun in gathering 8 people to go and kill a solo person with little to no effort (I am one of these people that don't understand the fun in that). If anyone can give me details of what's fun about it please leave a message . Remeber this is BG and mostly thidranki we are talking about in this discusion.

Said it well there Blokkie, zerging is part of the game so learn to deal with it, they are easily avoided if you know where and where not to go (which I'm sure you do) but as Blokkie said it can make the game more exciting because if all you got was 1 on 1s then you would definatly get bored.

what is rong with 'zerging' solo classes? wot are the albs/mids suppost to do? just let someone go unless there is 2 or more of them? that would just make things boring.

Im pretty sure killing people from the opposite realm is the main point of the game, and im also pretty sure that the solo class would add on the 'zerg' if it was in combat with another group.

as far as the zerg can see, maybe this stealther will later take out our casters, maybe this tank will later kill one of our squishies when we're in the heat of another battle. The zerg has no way of knowing this individuals intensions, and as far as the zerg is concerned if its red it can potentially deal a blow when least expected, if your red your a threat, doesnt matter if your alone, doesnt matter if your with 20, to the zerg red = enemy, regardless of anything.

thats why you got zerged, nothing to do with honour.

anyhow u always give a little bit of gold which helps with another amulet back to the BG's to zerg soloers , its the true intention of zergs really it is, their sole purpose in DAOC is the annoy soloers, so deal with it.

For your information you may not have had fun getting killed by the zerg, but the zerg did have that "little bit" of fun killing you, so yes less fun for 1 person more fun for the zerg, i'd take the second option more happier people. You're are just gonna have to change your game plan.

I need to use a plethora of words to hide the fact that I'm actually talking crap . On a serious note: I can't be bothered pushing the reply button to produce a one sentence reply. If I haven't anything worth saying I just move along.

That's why I'm also adding this note on Kalidur's reply. You say that zergs are the point of the game, I disagree. Surely the point of this game, like any game, would be to have fun? There are as many opnions as there are people, so it's only reasonable to expect that some people have a different way of enjoying the game. I am not saying that any of these ways is superior to the other, but a bit of respect from both sides would be nice.

Solo'ers do not prevent the zergers from enjoying the game in the way they like it, but sometimes zergs make it impossible to solo. It would be a nice gesture to let a solo'er live every once in a while. I am not saying that you shouldn't ever attack a solo'er, that would be boring for you as well, but if you notice that you have run that same person over 5 times in as many minutes, please consider turning a blind eye .

I am aware that this can create a situation where people abuse this fact, by faking that they are solo only to turn on you when you are fighting. People who do this deserve every minute of zerging they get. Oh, and people who insult others for playing the game in a way they enjoy it (i.e. the thread starter) deserve to be zerged as well .
