yea, I JUST HAVE TO WHINE once a day and I didnt get my share out today so Im taking it out on barryswhine just for once :)

so, lets see.. around 13 cet today I logged on with a hunter in emain.. it belongs to a friend of mine, just so u dont have to wonder.

I see around 12ish middies at amg.
I walk to apk, see some 20ish albs.. Im having my share of fun poking at them with wooden sticks etc, very fun. then they zerg the middies at amg, and a little later I get smashed down below the surface of the earth also. nothing new here..

I decide to lvl my alt a bit, that was the plan for the day, but I was waiting a little for a few friends etc, so I do a few runs with the zerker a little later (around 15 cet), and I find that albs camp mmg. still, same old same old. we get zerged a couple of times then I'm having a little fun winning a 3on1 ;) (was 3on2 but xuthos the muppet dies so fast that it doesnt count) and just as the last fella bites the green green grass of emain, I am zerged by 30-40 albs (mind u that I had around 2% hp left here, I had my share of laugh at this, seems ironic to me that they need to zerg to kill 1 middie with no hp, but still its same old same old.)

then I lvl alt untill now, 02.00 am (hey hibs watch ur relics, its starting to be alb primetime)
I step out of the mid portal keep, notice a sh*tload of albs camping mpk, and as I realize that this is how its been the last 12 hrs I just walk out and die.

now, I must ask. are you having fun?

so, are u still REALLY serious about this "stop crying about alb being overpowered and zerging" trip? well in that case I think that ther's a serious case of swampgasses floating around in the realm of albion.
I have no suggestions, as I started out with, I just need my share of whine for the day.

but I really cant find the element of fun in rvr on excal atm. I believe we have (had?) the best server on eu, just compare the activity on barrysworld forums, pryd/excal.. 3 times as much activity in the rvr forum alone. there might be more whining, but there must be something to whine about, and alot of action helps out on this =)

so pls tell me how u feel about not having anything to kill. coz thats how its going to be if albs will be swarming (02:22:51 · <Biohazard`> 45 non anon) emain like lemmings. (on a busy day /who emain from middie pow shows max 30ish)

im still missing out on those standard excuses from u albs, u are usually good at sounding innocent when it comes to be on the zerging side aussie. what do u have to say to this?

Killed alot enemies in big hib/mid groups too ^^ (longest range you know :D )

Funny thing is, that with the mindset most zerg groups have(from all realms, not just albs) that might actually work :))

I blame the BG's. Previously if Emain was good/bad or indifferent, once u were 50 it was all u had to do, except item hunt or lvl an alt. Now there are options (the BGs) and a reason to make even more alts. And I think primetime RvR is suffering for it. Yeah sure Emain was dull as dishwater tonight. Too many Albs and not enuf effort from the competition :)

Only decent battle was the flanking of the hibbies at DC and that was over far too soon (we stuck together for once).

Both Mids and Hibs have had large zergs seen in Emain on a regualr basis over the last couple months so whats changed?...

And dammit when the mids/hibs r holding AMG we duly throw ourselves at it, least u could do is return the favor when we own MMG ;)

hehe aussie u should hear me flame NP for being a rogue guild whilst im filling up HEALERS with ram parts coz the fucking hunters cant carry anything but their own kobie arse and some arrows... :)

and yea ofc they arent on why the hell should they? they got nothing to fight for and nowhere to fight :)
no relics to protect and no scirmish to do (only die, gets boring for most ppl after 5-6 repeaded deaths, I can go on for a couple of hundreds sometimes).
now go camp mpk in emain I had a surprice for u and then u start suiciding on our guards, thats lame =)

bah i'd have to agree, tried to get some good late night skirmishes just now with group of 4 or 6 hibs, and ther are 2 FG albs running around, and ofc scouts + minstrels littering amg

Have to agree with Sub tbh, even though I am an Alb, came on at 1am totally shattered and drunk from being out all night,last night.

Thought oooo some Emain action, so came into Emain saw loads of albs camping the bloody MMG AGAIN!

So went into the crowd and what happened the same old, kill the mids till they run back, then albs run back to amg then mids run after us, then albs run them back to their portal keep repeat for 3-4hrs

I got whacked twice by a skald and a shadow blade due to total lack of skill and co-ordination, but I can see the Mids frustration to be honest.

Its sad to see really :(

Hope things prep up for you Mids soon

Haha Sub ....that's hilarious..you have obviously forgotten the countless days apk in Emain has been camped form morning to evening by 1000000 Mids.

The only trend I have noticed with mids these days is...mebe 40 mids in Emain...We kill em off..20 come back....we kill em off....10 come back ......we kill em off.....none come back.

Albs get ganked 10 times a day and still come back .....guaranteed if any Mid/Hib wants to have some good ol' faishoned fun in Emain... all they have to do is pay AMG a visit and they'll find lots of Albs to play with.

( I personally think Sub is jealous of ALb discipline to actally stay, gather and Zerg from mmg unlike the portal camping Middies)

geesh If this all Mids/Hibs perspective on RvR no wonder u all seem to be too scared to show yer face these days in Emain.

I bet you have like 8 alts each u bores!

I've just rememberred.....while we defending DCrim from 60+ Hibs the other evening, I could see a small group of Mids to the right of Dcrim...and I knew that there were 40 + mids b/w mmg and amg. Now any alb group would have relished the opportunity of seeing so many nme around and gone and Zerged to death. Instead the Mids ran off.

Conclusion: We all know that u Trolls and Mooses are Allied

So next time we camp mmg. Your little alliance can have Trolls attacking us form the front and Mooses from the back.

Also : Have u ever heard of /gu or /as Sub. Lemme give u an Example:

/gu 100 ALbs camping mmg. We need help. Who fancies some fun
/as *SPAM* 100 ALbs camping mmg. Need disposing of :

yada yada.

Stop moaning and DO something about it.

If anything drove hibs out of the frontiers, it was the level 50 mids who were permacamping ligen for almost two months, ganking everything that poked its nose out the gate unless it was three full groups with some high levels along (and if we managed to kill the mids they would be back 15 minutes later). A whole generation of players never even had a chance to see where emain was, let alone what your ideal RvR looked like, and gave up on it altogether until the 1.48 patch brought them battlegrounds to play in.

Getting one's party stampeded by huge armies of albs is frustrating, sure, but most of us couldn't even get to where the albs were waiting to flatten us.

i see 3 possible solutions to what you see as a problem Sub:

1: Bring 50 of your friends and move back and forth between Castle Myrddin and Castle Excalibur, i guarantee lots of albs will stop camping in emain immediatly. (don't try to actually get relics from us, you'll only be disappointed)

2: Motivate your realm to bring more numbers to emain

3: Organise a large scale skirmish in this forum. (i personally would like to see more 200 albs vs 200 mids/hibs) (don't whine about lag now ) :)

If you don't like the albs camping in emain, just take the fight elsewhere... emain gets boring after awhile anyway for non-stealthers.

outlaw lets see here, whats fun in emain? 200 vs 200 vs 200 battles? or widely spread scirmish? I dont know with u but I dont enjoy instagib-battles where I have 5 fps.
I know mids have camped apk and amg just as much as albs have camped mmg and mpk, but hell we never zerged up our numbers for 3 hrs in a row so that we would be sure to win the fight. mids might not have disciplin, but we sure as hell arent destroying emain scirmish with zerging either.
you ALWAYS zerg up! its so rare to see small groups of albs running around, thats only a mid/hib thing.

I know it was lame to go to emain in the beginning for non-middies coz of the ultra-fast 50's mids had. But that was just a temporary issue.. the thing is, if u albs are gonna outzerg emain 200% for many days in a row you're gonna kill ur own realm. not hib/mid, but ur own. last night I saw 20+ albs suicide because they were sick and tired of waiting for something to zerg. Let me suggest that if you are incredible high on numbers and controlling emain, then go raid some damn keeps. and dont go for middie keeps coz no middies care much atm. and u can try and guess why.

edit: I might add that ofc. middies have had huge numbers in emain zerging but not for a incredible 8 hrs in a row! atleast I've never been a part of such a zerg from mid/hib's side.

what numbers? what u see is what we got - atleast thats my experience from our last 2 relic-raids.. It was a hell organizing it because I couldnt get many guilds to bring/operate more than 1-3 rams, simply because most guilds couldnt bring more than 1-2 FGs.

go to alb and raid.. I would do that, if I wasnt busy with my first serious alt(before any1 whines about alt-making I'd like to point out that this is the first Ive spend more than 3 days on, and Sub passed 45d playtime).
However its hard because middies are not used to scirmish-raids, only serious raids thats supposed to lead to something, ie. relicraid. well KTA worked alot on this, and I miss those I think they balanced emain some.. however alot of the time albs didnt care to do anything about it after every1 gave up went to bed.

ok ok I get the picture u r right we never used to Zerg we just roamed in 8 man groups, and it was fun then. But let's face it, it was the Mids that started the zerging with their constant apk camping.

We came up with a good anti-being ganked strategy : - TO camp MMG.

It was evolution.

From now on Outlaw is no longer a MMG camper.

A perfect example is this morning, we had a full group of Hibs, killed some mids, some Albs and finally fought around 10 Albs (nice fight too) 20 minutes later, ~double the Albs (more than a /who 40 50 showed up in Hib) port over and completely own us, even when we got the jump on them with aoe mez and crap, we got a few down but there were just too many (4 or 5 level 50 stealthers too) Albs and Lavelle couldnt get more than max 2 mezzes off = half the Albs were unmezzed, and the unmezzed ones STILL outnumbered us even when we took half of the albs out with mez :/

And about last night, we had 4 Hibs in group, killed a full group of albs (gotta love aoe mez) then we had roughly ~20 Albs on our ass right after:

/who Emain showed up less Hibs than there are Albs on that screenie, after that I stealthed back to bowl/alb wall and guess what? Found 2 more FG's of Albs :/

Obviously this is no one's fault and no one can really say Albs have ruined the normal RvR but outnumbering and still doing those lame night time relic raids is a bit, well, lame?
