Albs in Sursbrooke last evening

Thanks for nice keep defence were getting worried to not see albs at all but there you were, /salute to you all who were there

Hehe started as just 3 of us near there when you took eras. Another 3/4 turned up soon after who had been heading to the MMG to stop the mids coming back who we'd wiped in Sauvage.

So 7 of us defending against your guild raid of 2 full groups + I think (Ok I did see some grey, green and blue there too so it balanced out - we weren't all 50 btw).

After holding out for quite a long time and fighting off that damn Nightshade Maedhros (sp?) who seemed to be everywhere! we had a second force of 7 attack from behind you and get wiped but we ported out to finish you off

All in all a nice fun fight even if you didn't give many RP's

Killed Maedhros later on too with the help of an NPC scout and got 58 RP's

Heh I was running the Suicide squad that hit you from behind <grins>

Our Goal to distrupt you whilst the keep force sallied out to finish you, I'll be damned if I could locate that Luri caster nuking seven bells out of me and my ears are still ringing heh heh

Still was good to hear the keep forces stopped you in your Tracks.

Think that luri caster was my new main Niu was bit amased to find how much i can hit a lvl 50

Breathing has yet to see Emain but I unfortunatly have to agree with you on Alb charges their , To often I find my Wizzy standing in the front lines as half our forces have disapeared.

Btw I was the highest in our group which ranged from 38 to 45 hehe

hehe sure was damn fun, even for a 41th seasoned ranger but u albs sure are late to respond and come to fight, we took Beno and was there a while, a small grp of albs came and faced death due to lack of numbers... we waited and not a single alb turned up. So we thought, heck lets annoy the albs a little more so that they come, we took Eras and still no sign of albs Good thing we met some ppl at surs at least, was a nice fight there /salute to the brave albs that defended.

Time and unforeseen occurence ... sometimes people will rush to take keeps back, but the keener defenders were mostly engaged on guild PvE and guild RvR in other realms.

Also, people now know what a complete arse it is to charge a Lord realm held by manachanters, so rather than give away free realm points very often they'll simply wait for you to get bored and go home

Actually we didint have a pbao at all pbaoe takes all fun from keep defence IMO

Well, the infamous Elanza did meet us at Sursbrooke to help strike the albs dead wuth her beauty and PBAoE, but we were without an enchanter for most of the jaunt through Albion.

We did have about two groups, but most were below level 40 (quite a few were below 30). Just a bunch from our guild out for a little fun - and I'd rather be there than with the 'l33t' level 50s who zerg up and down Emain all day (not that I don't pop over to Emain for the occasional light entertainment myself).

Thanks to all the Guardians of Somnaire who came along and helped us make a mark on Albion for an evening!

indeed that was fun... I was one of the 4 that came along as you were at the keep... we took a couple down on the way in and got inside as you were at the side of the keep pulling the guards.....

looking at your numbers i say mainly yellow to red cons to me whom is 43rd season.... i was that insane merc (corranhorn) that kept coming out the keep to take someone down before porting back in as a dead body <chuckles>... sacrificing self to try take as many down was best bet when had one the best clerics about (in my biased view) to rezz me and allow me to go through the routine again...

however we wasnt on way to hadriens, we were on the way back. i saw a red con elf and their pet running along and so got my mini group heading in that direction (50th cleric, 50th paladin, 43rd merc, 41st scout) and as was following i knew what was we would run into... it seemed you not like our cleric, attacking the poor girl, got her free of her attack and got in.. was just fin from there... thou you had lack of people on doors at time made attacking them easier till that firby started to slam when ported, good tactic there must say....

i applaud you hibs for battling into the keep, it good to know you will challange opponent in that situation, and it good to know you too appraciate the battle for i enjoyed it much... nothing better then an organised keep defence even if only a few. wear the enemy down over time is best way to go..... and not to run from enemy is even better

i will see you around again... thou at times i go with the zerg more often then not if i can get the group together you will see me with some of my good friends running around looking for a good skirmish...

roflmao yea that scout thing was hilarious!! i had to log so i revealed and waved hoping one of u would gimmie a quick fight and way back to tir na mbeo but i was too close and a scout got me rofl so i pegged it stealthed but it kept shooting so i tried to suicidly run into mobs and when i died saw 5 or so archer thingiemies chasing was laughing my head off lol hope u didnt get an xp death or anything tho good kill

Yeah you'd managed to run close to the Teg rangers and about 4 of them decided to have a piece of me for killing the little Lurikeen and my group hadn't paid much attention to me shouting Luri S/SW but I managed to run back to them and had to yell for help since they were running of in the wrong direction! Oh well insta heal saves the day again.
