Albion Relic raid

Well what can be said, for all those who took part, u did a excellent job, and a big to everyone there, it been the most enjoyable relic raid in ages, and we nearly had it yet with all the luck we had getting in, it just wasnt enought to hold out for the actually tacking of the relic, dont know what actually happed, but just as we got the doors to the tower down, it all went very pearshaped

Now i know many ppl where saying while making plan for the relic raid why didnt u tell anyone or tell your guild ect... the simple reason for this sudden and decisive strike again midgard was because i do not know who to trust anymore with so many spys ect... going around, the only way to secure maxiam security was to not to tell anyone until 2 hours b4 the actuall raid.

i apolgise for sudden call to arms, and money lost with the rams we used.

Once again a big thank you to: Gregorian/Arthwyr/Ignea/Celt/Khalen/Kinah/Rada and to many other who helped in the relic raid. who help me try and regain our Glory

Great work by everyone, except people who just dont listen to orders or advice.

I have some pointers for any future raids; whoever leads should shout alot more, make sure everyone knows hes in charge and is to be followed and listened to. Then shout some more. Whenever theres doubt, someone shouting directions every 20 secs should clear any doubt...

If the foe notices the raid, it would be nice if we send in a squad to root them out from the relic tower before the actual carriers step in.. Not sure if this was done but there appeared to be heavy fighting around the relic..

And people should be very aware of who should get relic, ie, shout it out, atleast 5 times prior to doors going down. People are sheep, treat them like it. Us arrogant people will just think its meant for someone else so we wont take offence.

Just some friendly pointers I had brewing, I hope to see some more raids soonish.

far as i know the relic tower was clear inside

but nasty mids were complaing about our reposession order and fighting was tense around the main gate

well , i messaged some people because i felt guilty about not doing my part, but all of em said i was not to blame..

here s what happened :

-last door took about 5-6 minutes to get the ramparts to the guy building it, very sad , luckely i had 200 ironwood still on me from BF raid.

-as last door was at 10% a bunch of mids came charging in from all directions

-i wasnst first to go thru the third door and halfway up the tower i get 2 blue con guards on me, so i think to myself : "np , the albs around me will kill em". But no, all albs run past me up to the relic and leave me to die on second floor. So there i am , it takes 4 minutes to get a res while they squable over who should take the relic.

It had changed hands about 2-3 times by then, i get ressed and alpha kindly hands me the relic after taking it from some greys.
I go down to meet the still remaining 30 albs down below and get shot by a blue con archer and ganked by a purple con guard RIGHT next to 30 albs...

another discussion starts about who has the relic and who s gonna take ....

so in the end mids and guards ganked us all.

But it was a very nice raid , we covered both side-entrances the whole time , we got inside without too many deaths.

All in all it was a bit chaotic and i never expected to get inside

good job all albs!
Thx to all guilds and players that participated, when we finally get our shit together everything will go much smoother !

have to agree much as id like to blame mad i cant ;P

more a comunication problem we had i reckon if mad wasnt there no1 knew what to do with relic

still was a very smooth keep take i thought, really luved the worry when out looking for mid reinfircement groups panicing about how the actually keep attack was going

most fun had in ages for me ;P


however i do blame u for getting me killed about 2 months ago in barrows when u failed to mes all 12 wights when our pull went wrong ;P

Heinrich next time call in the Blade&Quill :=) we got at least 6 40+ in guild at primetime (and AoD has another few, so we can make a 8 man team )

See this is where I beg to differ, I couldn't give a rats ass if you "started" your raid 1 hour or 1 WEEK before you actually got to the gates, to me that's pretty irrelevant. You should KNOW by now that organizing these things takes time.

I wasn't even accusing anyone for something, I asked a question. And taking into account the time you guys were at our doors the logical conclusion from the previous post would be that 1-2AM is indeed considered primetime by some.

id like to see any realm successfully take a relic at primetime (1900-2300?) cause its next to impossible ... lets face the fact that the only time there is a good chance of being successfull is late at night or early in the morning
