Middies lets stop the so called whining and flaming here. First, the facts:

Albs have proved repeatedly by their inability to claim relics other that with testicle-free raids that they are not in the same league as us. Why worry about it? They can post all they like to wind you guys up, but no one can dispute the truth of the following:

They have to live with the humiliation of impotence. We live with knowledge that we have the courage to dare to attempt (and the majority of time succeed) raids at any time day or night.

There is no point arguing the validity of the above statement. It is set in stone. And has been ever since relic taking was feasible. No one in any realm can question this and anyone that does is talking out of their arse.

I'm just so happy I chose a realm filled with players who do have balls. Just imagine what its like being an Alb? Just imagine what its like living in Albion and having to live with the fact that you are a citizen of a toothless nation of non-achievers? The only proven intelligence of any note (Finster and his ilk) have rerolled to Midgard. As for the rest…

Just feel proud that Middies can always hold their heads high in the certain knowledge that we are a nation that does have scruples and a desire to push the envelope in terms of what we can achieve. The Albs don’t, but please don’t castigate them for this, Rather pity them and thank the Norse gods you picked the realm of achievers rather than non-achievers.

And why get upset? It just means <checks weather forecasts and notes that siegeram supplies are almost at optimum levels> another (and admittedly its becoming a bit of a regular occurance) demonstration of how useless they really are in the next few days (at a time that will be convenient to both sides).

I personally am starting to feel really embarrassed for the Albs. Hopefully our neighbours in Hibernia will mature and blossom into a worthy foe deserving of our respect.

Actions speak louder than words. I think Middies have proved their pedigree repeatedly. We are yet to see any Albion lifting a relic before Cinderella's coach has turned into a pumkin though...

Closest you came, I believe, was at MMG after we had done the spadework in Cruachian Gorge and you couldn't even get that right

The truth may be really painfull in a sperm-free society - just glad us Middies don'y have to live with that problem.

While we sit around campfires relating tales of masterful raids against the odds what do Albs do? Chat in the long queue at the fertility clinic about how much midnight oil to buy?

Mind you...I personally enjoy these early hours relic grabs so don't change your spots. I'd be out of a job (err..in game that is) if you didnt take em back and since you have proven beyond reasonable doubt you cant do it 24/7....keep up the "good" work

Relics may come and relics may go (as they do thank God - otherwise life would be dull), but class (or the lack of it) appears to be permanent.

If Albs were impotent it was probably because of the lack of a Strength Relic so basically Relics = Viagra.

im sure EVERYBODY from all realms has seen middys in mid week early hours in LARGE numbers "i know i have many times" the amount of times ive seen 20-30+ middys camped at amg in emain at times PAST 2am many times . just because we take tyour relic at 1am and you couldnt/didnt get an army to us thats not our fault . blame yourselves for crappy scouting as we do when ours gets taken ..

can mids can honestly say 11pm-1am is to late for rvr ? +most middys are tucked up in bed at that time ?

Err..be fair, little green man. Hibs taking their first relic was like losing their virginity..and grats to them for that whatever time of day or night they did it. And I do not "dislike" Albs. Maybe despise them, but then have they ever done anything worthy of earning respect? (Herbal Remedy admittedly I have a bit of time for - maybe because he has the wit and intellect the majority of you seem to lack).

I ask you one question, ¥ØÐÄ : Is it a challenge for Albions to take a relic at 1-2am? If it is for you then fair enough. It isn't for Middies. We kinda like the idea of possible heavy opposition incoming to spice things up. Each to their own. End of story.

Chesnor - they have them NOW, cause they took them TODAY.. ill check back on weekend - if your message will be still legit.

And its speacks for NTOHTING. At morning Relic can be taken by 40 lvl 50 people without any problem - Albs need 200+ for that .. hehe

I just wish that the Middies would realise that 11pm GMT is PEAK TIME as far as many of us are concerned.

Saturday/Sunday afternoons are when most of us are :-

- playing sport
- watching sport
- DIY ? (well maybe)
- keeping other halves sweet so we can play DAoC at all

(the last one being the most time consuming and often least enjoyable )

So when you boast about what an achievement it is to take a relic that time of day, as you call "peak times", think of us outside in the sunshine interacted with real people...

11pm is perfect for me and most of my friends because the outside world has gone quiet, and the only other thing to do is watch Big Brother. Oh, and hopefully the rest of the household is asleep so you won't get nagged for being on that "damn stupid game" again.

a) Yes its a game and I do not take it seriously. However I do like a challenge to get my money's worth..and you dont offer any at the moment It would be nice for the Albs to try something daring for once though but let's not hold our breath, shall we?

b) If you read more into what I say and construe it as being anything other than a complete piss take of the opposition it is likely you need to learn the meaning of the word "humour." Err - unless it's a bit close to home and causes some discomfort for which I make no apology

c) I am always chilled out (prolly more so than is good for me in future thanks to Mr Blunkett).

d) Impotence is a word that can be used literally or figuratively Mc Suggest you spend more time studying English and less DaoC m8.
